Arguably my two favorite mountain ranges—the Teton Range and the Wind River Range—exist in this magnificently beautiful state. 

Borrowed from Louis L’Amour’s novel, “high lonesome” has become my own heart’s catch phrase for those lonely, high up places in lofty mountain ranges. For me, they are God’s most spectacular and humbling sanctuaries—my favorites places on earth.
