I'm so glad I didnt turn around and give up on it...

I was so thankful when I got the text from my wife and daughter as they were driving home the night of this spectacular sunset. They had been on a hike in the Pismo Preserve, and thought the sky was shaping up to be a good one. They texted and let me know, so I headed down to the beach.

Even as I drove, I was watching the sky and it didn’t look like it was shaping up so well. I actually considered turning around several times, but ultimately just kept going.

I’m so glad I didn’t turn around and give up on it…
