Gallery: Kings Canyon and Vicinity
Grizzly Falls is actually a much-photography location in Kings Canyon. When I lived in the area, I would go there a lot. Easy access, beautiful location. But usually pretty busy with visitors.
So one night I decided to head out there, spend the night in my truck, then try to photograph it before the crowds arrived and the sun washed it out.
Thankfully the creek was just down enough for me to stand in it and get this shot without getting washed away (sadly, people have lost their lives here when the falls are roaring).
