God made pure gold when He dreamed up aspen...

I saw the grove of aspen way down the hillside. I wondered if it would be a nice shot with the grove in the foreground. So I trudged down the steep hillside, dodging cattle and their myriad “deposits.” It was well worth it, as I was rewarded with this incredible “sweeping” view of Capitol Creek drainage at sunrise.

I spent two nights there, just taking in the amazing view of Capitol Peak and all the shimmering beauty of my favorite trees in the whole world. God made pure gold when He dreamed up aspen.
