Dawn at Bear Lake

Sometimes the best moments come rather easily...
Sometimes it takes an insane amount of, um, insanity to get the shot. Like Dora Lake. But then, sometimes the best moments come rather easily. This was captured on a pleasant (albeit cold) October morning from a well-maintained path around a very popular lake. You can drive right up to it. The sky was wonderful, the reflection beautiful (hardly any wind), the snow on Longs Peak perfect. I love the interesting cloud at the top left opposite the inviting rock at the bottom right (where I sat for quite some time after the sun rose).
For a sibling photo see Longs Peak over Bear Lake.
