Almost like God had this masterpiece tucked away just for me...

This basin is the most unique “hanging valley” I’ve experienced thus far. The waterfall comes out of nowhere, pouring down into this basin, then the creek meanders along until it drops off into oblivion.

When I was a kid, I used to draw mountains and waterfalls, and this looks strikingly similar to the pictures I’d draw. Years later, I’m staring at a dream realized. Almost like God had this masterpiece tucked away just for me.

Oh, and this is the only place I’ve ever had to fight off a porcupine (all night long) bent on chewing through the hoses under my truck. Definitely added to the uniqueness of the adventure.
