Gallery: Kings Canyon and Vicinity
Years ago I remember my dad telling me about how he took a group of college kids backpacking near Convict Lake when he was a college pastor at a church.
So of course, I had to see the lake at some point. Funny how it matters when a good father talks about good things. Makes you want to experience it as well.
It was a clear morning (no epic clouds), but a peaceful, beautiful lake. I’m so glad I finally got to see it.
