Golden gem...

Now that I’ve spent some time here, I can see why so many people are drawn to Ediza Lake, a golden gem of the Ritter Range!

I met a cool guy named Chris at Ediza Lake. Shared some stories and conversation. Really appreciated him a ton. I usually prefer being alone at high country locations, but Chris was a welcomed exception to my “normal” routines.

If you see this, Chris, thanks for the comradery. I hope your trip out down Rush Creek was a fun adventure! Yes, I made it up Starkweather Trail and down Minaret Vista Trail to the lodge. Starkweather was a lot easier than I thought it would be! :)
