The 20-year blessing...

Way back when I was quite young, I went backpacking in Wyoming’s Wind River Range to this basin. Years later I saw a photo online (I can’t find the photo now) with this view and reflection. For the next 20 years, I yearned to go back and capture something similar.

Finally I had my chance, and made my way to Titcomb Basin in the range. There was a very cold and windy storm with snow and sleet the night before, and I had one chance (day) to get it. This was the view I got the only day I was there, and thank God, it was so similar to the image I had seen online! It was a blessing of epic proportion (to me), because it was exactly what I asked for from God.

And once again, He said, “sure.”
